SEN 1:1 Tutor – Hinckley Area Support, inspire, and make a real difference in a young learner’s life. TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is seeking passionate and experienced SEN Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 support to pupils across Hinckley and surrounding areas . This role focuses on supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, and those who may be out of mainstream education. Sessions take place in pupils’ homes, schools, or alternative provisions during school hours. About the Role As a SEN Tutor, you will: Deliver personalised 1:1 learning sessions tailored to individual needs. Support pupils with both academic learning and emotional development. Adapt teaching strategies to engage learners with varying needs and abilities. Build trust and positive relationships to encourage progress and confidence. Track progress and provide feedback to relevant professionals. Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or young people with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.). Strong understanding of how to differentiate learning to meet individual needs. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach. Good communication and behaviour management skills. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one). Right to work in the UK.
