An established payments technology business is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support customers and prospects across the UK and Ireland.
Despite the title, this is not a traditional, commercially led CSM role. The position has evolved from a technical pre-sales support function and remains firmly hands-on, sitting at the intersection of sales, product, and customer delivery.
You will act as a technical authority for customers and internal stakeholders, supporting solution design, implementation, certification, and ongoing customer needs in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing technical pre-sales support (demos, tenders, solution design)
* Supporting customer onboarding and implementations
* Acting as a technical escalation point for live customer issues
* Advising on payment terminals, acquiring flows, certifications, and updates
* Working closely with sales, product, engineering, and project teams
* Meeting customers across the UK & Ireland as required
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in the payments industry
* Strong knowledge of payment terminals
* Background in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical support
* Confident communicator with customers and internal stakeholders
* PSP, terminal vendor, or acquiring experience
* Hybrid CSM / pre-sales background
