Being a EDM Product Consultant at Kainos
As an EDM Product Consultant at Kainos, you will work in a team to implement, configure, support, and provide on-going improvement of our exciting Employee Document Management application for our global customer base, typically leading a workstream. You will build relationships with our customers, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable. You’ll provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements. You’ll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.
You will be responsible for:
1. Leading the onboarding of our EDM application to our customers – you will work with global brands to solve configuration problems through delivering discovery workshops.
2. Understanding our customer’s needs – you will lead the analysis of Customers’ EDM configuration and understand their specific requirements that drives their business operations.
3. Applying your product expertise – you will be an expert in the Kainos EDM product and apply their knowledge to understand where its functionality, benefits, and limitations apply to the Customer’s configuration.
4. Upskilling our customers - On completion of the build process, you will teach the Customers’ EDM users' aspects of the EDM product functionality. You will also ensure the transfer knowledge of what has been built, why it has been built and how to use it. When the deliverables are complete, you will transition Customers to our internal Customer Success teams.
5. Contributing to continuous improvement - Outside of Customer engagements, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the EDM product by suggesting new features & functionality and liaising with development on the creation and testing of features, fixes etc.
6. Working as part of team - You will be a specialist within your field, leading or mentoring more junior team members. You’ll also support your colleagues to foster an inclusive culture in all that you do.
7. Defining training plans and focus areas – You will define training plans and focus areas for the Customer Success and Onboarding teams.
8. Working closely with the Product and Engineering team – You will work on new features, coordination of test and customer roll outs.
What we are looking for:
9. Excellent customer focus, with experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
10. 1-2 years professional experience in a customer facing role and proficiency with software programs and digital communication under Essential
11. Positive can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and to adapt your style and practices to respond to changing circumstances and customer needs.
12. Clear and effective communicator (both written and verbal) working with our global client base.
13. Ability to prioritize, plan workload and meet key deadlines.
14. Good commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
15. Capable of working within (remote) teams and alongside customers, as well as individual tasks with limited supervision.
Nice to have:
16. Exposure to software development, business analysis or quality assurance/test consulting environment.
17. Experience in the implementation of or a Subject Matter Expert of business-related applications.
18. Experience of the Workday Application Suite
19. Business, Finance, Computer Science or related degree.
