Paramount Personnel are delighted to be working with one of our partners, a luxury Hotel in the beautiful area of Dartmouth, Devon, who are seeking a full time Financial Controller. Responsible for all financial aspects of the Hotel, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a financial management position, with a passion for hospitality.
Reporting directly to the GM and senior leadership team, this financial controller position is a key aspect of the business. Given the nature of the position, it is essential that the successful candidate has financial qualifications as well as previous managerial experience. You will be responsible for the financial planning and forecasting and overall financial position of the Hotel, working closely with the GM to look at financial strategy within the Hotel.
Hotel Financial Controller responsibilities to include;
7. To manage all financial aspects of the Hotel, producing and managing all financial reports for departments.
8. Manage departmental budgets and targets, including sales, covers, average spends and departmental profits.
9. Ensure all accounting procedures are accurately carried out and completed within agreed time scales.
10. Ensure that all financial deadlines are met, both within the Hotel and external financial bodies.
11. Ensure the accurate timely completion of the management accounts according to company guidelines.
12. Agreed revenue control procedures are monitored, with corrective action taken with relevant personnel/departments.
