About the Role
We’re currently recruiting a Survival Equipment Admin Support to assist the Survival Equipment Team on site. You will work within the Royal Air Force, collaborating with RAF colleagues and the Serco team, delivering services in the following areas:
- Front‑of‑house receptionist duties – arranging appointments for RAF flight crew, managing flying clothing and equipment maintenance, issue and replacement.
- General office administration – filing, photocopying, database updates and record keeping.
- Team SharePoint site updates and management.
- Production of team meeting minutes and records.
- Booking staff training courses.
- Allocating and coordinating RAF staff routine duties.
- Managing and replenishing the stationery store.
- KPI recording – collating Survival Equipment Team general and manning performance data.
- Facilities management – coordinating building repairs and maintenance requests.
Key Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
- Superior customer‑service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including SharePoint.
- Scottish Clearance (SC) cleared or unimpeded to obtain one.
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and may also require formal security clearance (e.g. CTC or SC). UK residency may apply for certain levels of clearance. An Occupational Health questionnaire will be completed to ensure suitability for the role.
