Overview
An opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science at the University of South Wales for the appointment of a Technical Demonstrator with Pharmaceutical Science and Chemistry skills.
Based at the Upper Glyntaff Campus, Pontypridd, this role will provide you with the opportunity where you can utilise your range of chemistry knowledge and analytical instrumentation experience to demonstrate laboratory techniques to students.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Demonstrator to support practical teaching activities and maintain our laboratory and analytical equipment across the Applied Sciences laboratories.
* Demonstrate laboratory techniques to students using your chemistry knowledge and analytical instrumentation experience.
* Support practical teaching activities and maintain laboratory and analytical equipment across the Applied Sciences laboratories.

* A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
* Organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to lab management.

Employment arrangement
If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
