ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the commercial and financial aspects of projects, ensuring delivery within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing cost planning and commercial reporting across all project stages.
2. Preparing bills of quantities, cost forecasts, and variations.
3. Conducting tender analysis, supplier pricing evaluations, and value engineering.
4. Collaborating with project managers, designers, and commercial teams to control budgets and mitigate risks.
5. Providing commercial advice and guidance to support effective decision-making.
6. Presenting cost information confidently to clients and senior stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
7. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial fit-out, design & build, or construction.
8. Strong technical knowledge of cost planning, tendering, and contract administration.
9. Skilled in value engineering and commercial risk management.
10. Excellent analytical and financial skills with attention to detail.
11. Confident communicator with the ability to present at senior and client-facing level.
12. Proficient with industry-standard cost platforms and open to digital ways of working.
13. Collaborative, proactive, and results-focused approach.
