Main Responsibilities:
* Inside sales focusing on selling service products such as warranty extensions, maintenance and service contracts, qualifications, as well as implementing promotional and sales actions.
* Intensive supporting of assigned major customers (Key Account Management) in collaboration with Key and Focus Account Managers and Service Management, occasional customer visits for contract negotiations within the BNL region, readiness to travel 10-25%.
* Partner closely with the European service sales team on cross-regional projects
* Responsibility for timely contract renewals, including tracking deadlines, crafting offers, and following up with the goal of maintaining and growing existing business.
* Active acquisition and consulting of existing and new customers for the sale of service options.
* Ensuring the achievement of annual and quarterly financial goals by identifying, developing, and proactively pursuing relevant leads.
* Building and maintaining close and long-term business relationships through meetings, phone, and email contacts to communicate product and service information and capture strategic information.
* Building strong customer relationships to sell additional service products and increase market share.
* The Service Sales Specialist needs to recognize market trends, business developments, and competitive activities within their sales region by staying connected with their network of internal and external collaborators and sharing this information with the IES Management.
* Offer creation is carried out via our SAP system, which, along with C4S and SFDC, serves as the data basis for active sales to existing customers based on device installation base and repair history.
* Preparation of sales reporting, statistics, and forecasts.
Requirements:
* Preferably a completed degree in economics, alternatively a completed commercial vocational training, ideally with a technical or scientific focus.
* Industry knowledge in the field of instrumental analytics/life sciences.
* Experience in a similar role (sales, telesales, sales administration) and in a corporate/matrix organization is an advantage.
* Sales talent and ability to close deals.
* Capable of prioritizing, being effective, and negotiating well.
* High level of organizational skills and self-discipline to optimize time management and efficiency in daily activities.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to authoritatively navigate between different hierarchical levels and positions.
* High self-motivation, team spirit, flexibility, and positive demeanor.
* Very good English skills, both spoken and written.
* Excellent IT skills in MS Office, SAP ERP, CRM systems
