Salary: £99,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:
* We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in building complex test automation frameworks from scratch using JavaScript or TypeScript. You must have UI automation experience and be hands-on with Selenium WebDriver. Additionally, familiarity with automation frameworks, Percy, and BrowserStack is advantageous. Experience in API Automation and component integration testing using Postman or similar tools is also preferred. We require proficiency in integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab runner. Knowledge of Playwright (JavaScript), Node.js, version control operations (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), and a strong background in BDD with Cucumber or similar frameworks is essential. Basic object-oriented programming knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment are necessary, along with familiarity with Jira and Zephyr for Test Management.
Responsibilities:
* In your role, you will define tools and frameworks to develop and maintain test automation. You will identify test automation opportunities and work closely with the development team to define strategies and best practices. We expect you to look for opportunities to shift left testing and enhance test automation. You will provide clear and accurate documentation for the tests and automation processes while contributing to the continuous improvement of testing and test automation practices. Integrating automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline will be part of your duties, and you will be responsible for sharing best practices and owning the testing process during all cadence ceremonies. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to keep your skills up to date by following advancements in testing and test automation.
