What will I be doing?
* Lead project delivery
* Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and programme targets are met.
* Keep everyone in the loop
* Attend site visits, lead kick-off meetings, and keep both Clancy and the client updated on progress.
* Coordinate with key players
* Work closely with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet deadlines and keep things running smoothly.
* Drive pre-construction success
* Oversee planning, pricing, documentation, and ensure all key information is captured and handed over to the delivery team.
* Support across the board
* Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and consenting teams to help shape programmes, manage costs, and ensure all required approvals and plans are in place.
What do I need to succeed?
* Strong project background
* You've led pre-construction and build projects, ideally in DNO substations and highways, with solid project management know-how.
* Industry expertise
* You bring technical experience in High Voltage, Utilities, and substation builds, including civils, cabling, protection, and RTS.
* Contract knowledge
* You're confident working with NEC contracts and understand the ins and outs of the power, transmission, and distribution sector.
* Tool savvy
* You've used Primavera P6 for scheduling and Excel for data management and analysis.
* On-the-ground experience
* You're hands-on, with practical experience in both the planning and delivery of utility and streetworks projects.
