Were looking fora results-driven Digital Content Marketing Executive to join our marketing andcommunications team. This role plays a key part in delivering digital marketingactivity for the charity, with a primary focus on the SEO-led content roadmapand PR.


Main duties of the job

Youll beresponsible for creating and optimising high-performing website content thatdrives organic traffic, increases engagement, and supports conversion goals.This includes developing press releases, coordinating interviews, and managingsocial media content. This role blends hands-on content creation with strategicexecution and is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in theirdigital content career.

Working closelywith the Head of Brand and Communications, the Marketing Administrator, andcolleagues across the organisation, you will ensure Tapping House's digitalpresence remains strong, consistent, and up-to-date, reflecting our brandvalues and supporting our brand repositioning efforts.

Job responsibilities

Content Planning & Creation

- SEO Content Delivery -Take primary responsibility for delivering our SEO content roadmap, writing andediting optimised, brand-aligned, and compliant copy for web pages, landingpages, and articles.

- Public Relations (PR) -Take ownership of creating press releases andcoordinating interviews to build media presence and support the charity'smission.

- Social Copy - Manage and deliver our organic Facebook/LinkedIn contentstrategy to complement paid campaigns and engage audiences.

- Digital Content Activities - Ensure that all digital content (website,social media, and email newsletters) is accurate, timely, and regularlyrefreshed. Source and update photography, video content, and written copy tokeep our digital channels engaging and relevant.

Website Management & Digital Presence

- Website Maintenance - Maintain and develop the Tapping House website,ensuring it is current, user-friendly, and search-optimised.

- SEO & Analytics - Support Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) effortsto improve Tapping House's online visibility and organic search rankings. Thisincludes assisting with keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEOaudits, and monitoring backlink profiles. You will help monitor websiteanalytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance and assist in producingquarterly website analytics.

- Technical Liaison - Act as a liaison with external web developmentagencies or internal IT teams for website maintenance and updates.

Campaign Support & Performance Monitoring

- Campaign Execution - Assist in the development and implementation ofmulti-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., awareness, fundraising appeals,service promotion) from concept to completion, with a focus on deliveringhigh-impact content for each channel.

- Performance Monitoring - Track and analyse content performance(including SEO and PR) using data to drive continuous optimisation.

- Measurement & Reporting - Help set and track Key PerformanceIndicators (KPIs) for campaigns. Monitor, analyse, and report on campaignperformance, using data to inform future activities.

Internal Communications & Brand Consistency

- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with the MarketingAdministrator and colleagues across the organisation to ensure Tapping House'sdigital presence is consistent, up to date, and reflects our brand values.

- Brand Guardianship - Work closely with the Head of Brand andCommunications to ensure all website content and campaign materials adherestrictly to Tapping House's brand guidelines, maintaining an empathetic andprofessional tone.

OtherResponsibilities:

Uphold the Hospice's vision and values at alltimes.

Carry out all duties in accordance with theHospice's policies and procedures, including health & safety, code ofbehaviour, confidentiality, and equality, diversity & inclusion.

Promote awareness of the Hospice, itsservices, and its strategy.

Work collaboratively and respectfully with allstaff, volunteers, and supporters.

Support the safeguarding of vulnerable adults,young people, and children.

Adhere to policies on information security, data privacy, andconfidentiality.

Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learningand development.

Undertakeother duties as directed by your Line Manager.


Person Specification


Experience

* Proven experience in delivering SEO-led content roadmaps, writing and editing high-performing website copy, landing pages, and articles.
* Proven experience in writing, editing, and creating engaging, brand-aligned content for both digital e.g., social, web and traditional e.g., press, print channels.
* Experience conducting interviews, sourcing case studies, and developing compelling storytelling for a range of internal and external audiences.
* A proven ability to set KPIs, monitor, analyse, and report on campaign and content performance using data-driven insights to optimise future activities and demonstrate ROI.
* A strong understanding and experience with website strategy and maintaining websites.
* Experience in Search Engine Optimisation SEO techniques, including on-page optimisation and technical SEO audits,
* Experience in monitoring website analytics e.g., Google Analytics
* Strong listening and communication skills.
* Experience creating and managing press releases and media relations PR.
* Experience with multimedia content development photography, video, infographics.
* Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
* Experience with brand repositioning or re-profiling projects.
* An understanding of performance marketing techniques e.g., Google Ads, paid social, or remarketing.
* Experience with photography and/or video content creation and editing.
* Experience with databases and segmentation.

Qualifications

* 3 years minimum experience working in a similar role and 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include English and Maths.
* Recognised qualification in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations, or a related subject.
