Pertemps Social Care are working with a Local Authority in the Bedfordshire area to find an experienced Educational Psychologist.
Role: Educational Psychologist
Hours: full-time and adhoc
Rate: £650 per day and outside IR35

The Educational Psychologist will deliver an effective educational psychology service to schools, families, and the local authority by:
* Providing psychological advice for statutory assessments under the SEND Code of Practice.
* Supporting children and young people with special educational needs, emotional or behavioural difficulties, and developmental disorders.
* Promoting inclusive education and well-being through evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and consultations for children and young people.
* Provide psychological advice for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to service databases.
Qualifications & Skills:
* HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
* Completion of a BPS-accredited Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
* Strong consultation, assessment, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across education, health, and social care sectors.
