An exciting new vacancy has arisen within the Elland facility for a Senior Design Engineer
Trillium Flow Technologies is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Elland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the design and development of high-performance control and isolation valves that meet demanding customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret technical specifications to design valves that meet contractual and service requirements.
* Perform material selection and engineering calculations to size valve components.
* Generate Bills of Materials, general arrangement drawings, and detailed part definitions.
* Review and check the work of other team members.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, assembly, inspection, and testing.
* Support manufacturing and testing processes.
* Prepare design reports and support sales with technical input for tenders.
* Contribute to new product development and adopt emerging technologies.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Working knowledge of valve design standards (API, ASME; ASME III desirable).
* Understanding of PED requirements.
* Proficiency in Solid Edge and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
* Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
