About the role
Sherborne Abbey Primary Schoolare seeking an outstanding permanent Childcare Supervisor to join our before and afterschool childcare provision. We are looking for someone who possesses a clear vision and a deep passion for nurturing the potential in every child,as well as someone who will be a good fit for our warm and friendly school.
Working 12.25 hrs per week, term time only - 38 weeks plus 4 inset days.
Actual Salary £ 6,951.00 - £7,064.00 (Grade 5, Scale Point 5-6) Pay Award pending
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and deliver engaging activities for children
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care
* Supervise a small team of childcare assistants
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers and school staff
* Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding policies
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting
* Demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills
* Is reliable, responsible and approachable
