We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our Mental Health team at HMP Stocken, a category C Prison located in East Midlands.
HMP Stocken has recently opened a new wing, increasing its capacity to 1285 males.

Hours:
This role is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary:
The position offers an annual salary up to £55,996, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and care teams
* Deputising for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required
* Collaborating with partners to maintain high-quality clinical services
* Ensuring your clinical practice aligns with autonomous practice standards
* Modeling a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence
* Coaching, managing, and developing clinical staff; supporting audits and governance; reviewing clinical and non-clinical protocols
* Chairing healthcare meetings, providing clinical supervision, and conducting investigations locally and regionally

Qualifications required
* RMN, Social Worker (Mental Health), or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health)
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Understanding of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working complexities
* Line management experience and student nurse mentorship
Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
