We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. You will play a vital role in transporting our service users to and from the Centre, ensuring their journeys are comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely driving a company vehicle to collect and return service users to/from the Day Care Centre
* Assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times
* Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance needs
* Working closely with care staff to support service users’ individual needs (not care related) whilst they are at Day Care
* Acting as a friendly and reassuring presence for older people and their families
* Assist with daily Day Centre activities and lunch time tasks
About You
* Hold a full, clean UK driving licence (D1 entitlement essential)
* Previous experience of driving a minibus or transporting passengers is desirable
* Patient, caring, and respectful approach towards older people
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing a safe and professional service
