Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Inverurie, Scotland
Sector: Power and Renewables
Responsibilities
* Review and validate tender budgets to ensure full scope coverage and identify risks.
* Develop and update detailed cost plans on a weekly basis.
* Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, final accounts, and payment certificates.
* Prepare and present weekly/monthly commercial reports, cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Administer contract obligations, manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
* Oversee procurement processes, evaluate tenders, and ensure best value and compliance.
* Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships; lead commercial meetings.
* Lead and mentor junior team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
