At Fisher German our people and clients are at the heart of what we do. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Rural Client Accounts team in a role where the focus will be the financial management of a portfolio of clients.
This role will include responsibility for specific ledger balances and associated financial transactions, reporting the financial data with commentary and supporting documentation. The role will also involve liaison with external clients and their tax advisors and internal clients such as asset managers and property managers.
You will also be responsible for line managing two reports, so previous experience in training and mentoring is required.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours), based at our office in Ashby de la Zouch. We also operate a hybrid working policy.

Duties
* Recording of transactions
* Bank reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations and Profit and Loss variance reporting
* Ensure accurate & timely processing of supplier payments and client remittances
* Liaise with third party providers, clients, suppliers and tenants
* Preparation of financial reports
* Preparation and filing of VAT returns
* Reconciliation of tenant and supplier accounts
Qualifications
* An understanding of accounting, financial reports
* Experience training and mentoring others
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact and deal with surveyors/clients/third parties
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise, with excellent time management skill
* Strong attention to detail, be diligent and precise in how you deliver work
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
