Job overview The Older People’s Community Mental Health Team is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nursing Associate with a keen interest in, or experience of, older people’s mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people aged 65 and over live well, maintain independence, and achieve the best possible quality of life. The service works with individuals in their own homes as well as in care and residential placement settings. Advert As a Community Mental Health Nursing Associate, you will provide community patient-led services and work with older adults over 65 years old who have mental health issues and complex dementia needs. This role is one in a multidisciplinary team, and you will be a core part of that team. Main duties will include the monitoring of antipsychotics as part of the BPSD pathway, administering depots, completing medication reviews and mental health reviews of people on our caseloads that reside in residential and care homes. Feeding back to MDT, care homes, individuals, carers and other professionals.
