Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the diverse needs we support. Our mission is to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN / SEND, SEMH, MLD, and SLD, by keeping the team around the child and providing ongoing support throughout placements.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who prefer 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and improve educational outcomes.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred by local authorities and schools
* Support will be delivered flexibly and holistically through trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver engaging sessions that meet the young person’s needs and progress educational and social-emotional goals
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
SEN / SEND Tutor requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
* Experience and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online assignments
It is a strict requirement to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and to follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Employment status
* This is a Worker engagement for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payment
* No guaranteed amount of work or expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
