Job Description
3. Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
4. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and client accounts.
5. Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and proactively follow up.
6. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
7. Prepare and distribute regular financial and credit reports to management.
8. Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
9. Recommend strategies to minimise credit risk while maintaining positive client relationships.
10. Support the accounting and finance team with additional administrative duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Experience in credit control or a related field within accounting and finance.
12. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
13. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
15. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
16. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
