We're recruiting for our client - a leading digital growth agency - in their search for an innovative and forward‑thinking Organic Search Specialist (SEO & AI). This is an exciting opportunity to join a B‑Corp accredited agency working with ecommerce and purpose‑led brands to deliver sustainable digital growth through creativity, strategic insight, and new technology.

The Role As an Organic Search Specialist, you will lead SEO strategy and performance for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, including ecommerce. You'll have the freedom to direct client strategy, deliver impactful SEO, contribute to the development of AI‑driven search visibility (AIO), and drive measurable ROI.
While you will communicate with clients as needed, the agency also has dedicated Client Account Managers, allowing you to focus primarily on SEO delivery, performance, and innovation.
This role is Cheltenham‑based (Tivoli) with 2-3 days remote working, and full‑time remote applicants across the UK will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities SEO Strategy & Delivery
Develop and manage 360° SEO strategies for a range of clients
Monitor performance daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure ROI targets are met
Conduct keyword research, technical reviews and ongoing optimisation
Improve onsite performance and advise on CRO (conversion rate optimisation)
Proactively provide insights, recommendations, and opportunities for growth AI‑Driven Search (AIO)
Deliver and help evolve the agency's new AIO service
Ensure client visibility within AI‑driven search results such as chatbots
Stay ahead of the evolving AI search landscape Reporting & Analysis
Provide detailed insights using analytics and performance tools
Produce clear reports on rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI
Interpret data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Internal Collaboration & Support
Work closely with internal teams to ensure SEO best practices
Educate colleagues whose work impacts SEO
Contribute ideas, best practices, and continuous improvement of services Client Engagement
Support client relationships with calls, meetings, and presentations
Communicate strategy, performance and insights clearly
Provide proactive, value‑driven recommendations Ideal Candidate
You will be a passionate, analytical and forward‑thinking SEO specialist who is eager to innovate and deliver measurable results.
You will bring:
3-5 years' experience managing SEO for multiple clients
Strong ecommerce SEO experience and proven ROI delivery
Excellent understanding of analytics, traffic data and conversion performance
Experience setting up and using GA4
Strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex data
Creative problem‑solving skills and proactive thinking
Excellent reporting, communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Experience with Google Ads (beneficial but not essential)
Ideally Google Analytics Certified Key Attributes
Proactive and driven to exceed expectations
Collaborative, positive and open to feedback
Keen to share knowledge and contribute to team development
