We are seeking experienced individuals with the right attributes that want to join WFS and bring valuable skills to the business. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in our Air Cargo Warehouse, where you will be responsible for efficiently moving loads and freight while adhering to strict security and safety regulations

Reward and Package
* Base Salary: £45,016.35 per annum inclusive of shift allowance
* Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Shift Pattern: Rotating 8-hour shifts on a 4 on 2 off basis, covering a mixture of early, days and evenings. Start times range from 06:00 to 22:00

Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:
* Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles with precision and efficiency.
* Place and retrieve freight in and from designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
* Build cargo onto aircraft units according to airline specifications, prioritising safety and adherence to guidelines.
* Complete documentation accurately to record details and movement of freight, mail, and equipment, maintaining meticulous records.
* Conduct necessary checks on imports and exports to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements, including security and regulatory protocols.
* Record and process cargo documents using handheld technology.
* Work as part of a team to tight deadlines.
To be successful in this role you will need:-
* Excellent command of the English language in both written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
* Valid driver's license, demonstrating the ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
* Forklift experience is preferred, as it will be advantageous for handling cargo efficiently.
* Proficiency in manual handling of heavy goods, showcasing physical strength and capability to lift and move items as required.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including 8 hours shift patterns (4 on and 2 off).
