Architect Analyst
Salary: From £25,200 plus benefits
Contract type: Permanent
Shift pattern: Full-time – 35 hours per week
Location : Hybrid / Manchester or London office based - 1 day in Leeds office per week
Role Overview
he Architect Analyst provides analytical, administrative, and research support to the architecture function. The role assists in developing and maintaining the organization’s application portfolio, architecture models, and governance processes. Working under the guidance of senior architects, the Architect Analyst helps ensure that architectural information is accurate, accessible, and used effectively to support planning and decision-making.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
1. Maintain and update the application and technology portfolio, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems
2. Support the development and maintenance of architecture models (business, application, data, and technology layers) using approved tools and frameworks
3. Assist in the preparation and review of solution architecture documentation, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and target state architectures.
4. Contribute to the governance process, including the preparation of architecture review materials, tracking of decisions, and compliance reporting
5. Perform research and analysis to support technology assessments, rationalisation initiatives, and architecture roadmaps.
6. Help produce architecture communications, dashboards, and reports for executive and business stakeholders.
7. Support continuous improvement of architecture processes, templates, and repositories to enhance quality and efficiency.
8. Collaborate with project teams and business analysts to gather architectural data and support solution reviews.
9. Maintain familiarity with emerging technologies and enterprise architecture practices to support team learning and innovation.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
10. Foundation knowledge of application, data, and integration principles within IT
systems
11. Basic understanding of enterprise architecture concepts (TOGAF or similar
frameworks preferred)
12. Effective communication and collaboration skills when working across technical and
business teams
13. Foundation knowledge of application, data, and integration principles within IT
systems
14. Evidence of project work in their degree, must have a portfolio to evidence
15. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
