Are you organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently? We’re looking for a Receptionist/Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our industrial business in Gloucester.

This is a permanent, part-time role. Ideal for someone seeking dependable hours and a calm, focused work environment.

Location: Gloucester
Type: Permanent, Part-Time (Monday to Friday)
Hours: 09:00–15:00 (flexible to suit school runs or similar commitments)
Salary: £17,500 (based on 6-hour days with a 30-minute break)
Holidays: 18 Days + Bank Holidays
Pension: 6% employer contribution

As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the company.


Your duties will include:

1. Answering the phone
2. Receiving visitors
3. Scanning & Filing job past history
4. Scanning & Filing Delivery Notes
5. Scanning & Filing material certificates
6. General Filing
7. Organising Transport
8. Ordering Stationery
9. Managing Holiday forms
10. Reconciling monthly orders with delivery notes


Key Skills and Experience:

1. Receptionist/administrative experience preferred
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
5. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
6. A proactive and positive approach to challenges
