AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) in cooperation with Ryanair invites applications for a Station Manager to lead our largest and busiest engineering base at London Stansted Airport. This high‑profile role provides strategic and operational responsibility for a team of over 200 engineers and mechanics supporting a fleet of 60 night‑stopping aircraft in a fast‑paced, 24/7 maintenance environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance across all maintenance operations. Lead, coordinate and optimise a dynamic 24/7 maintenance environment, manage resources, support a fleet of 60 night‑stopping aircraft and plan for expansion to 800 aircraft within the next 10 years, including introduction of 300 new Boeing 737‑MAX 10 aircraft.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a leadership role (Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager or similar).
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing large teams in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
* Flexible, hands‑on approach to leadership.
* Knowledge of aviation processes is an advantage but not essential.
