INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Pertemps Crawley are working with a leading manufacturer near Uckfield who are seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their knowledgeable and friendly team. As Internal Sales Executive you will be working from technical information and product specifications to promote a wide range of products and services, generate new and grow existing business.
Own transport and valid UK driving license essential, due to location
The Role:
1. Qualifying incoming enquiries, developing the call and establishing potential for business. Obtaining and processing information to enable appropriate offers/decisions to be made.
2. Consulting on product and service queries from customers and Area Engineers
3. Preparing accurate quotations
4. Assisting with bids/tenders
5. Qualifying and developing new and existing customers. Research customers profile, establishing sales potential and qualifying prospects to develop sales strategy.
6. Liaise with Management, Sales, Projects & Technical Departments regarding technical questions and solutions
7. Generating documentation and internal technical documents
8. Securing appointments for field sales engineers
9. Managing and maintaining CRM system
10. Following up of quotations and closing orders
The Person:
11. Ability to interpret technical terms and clearly communicate technical information
12. Self-motivated and well-organised with excellent time management skills
13. Strong attention to detail
14. Ability to perform calmly and accurately whilst under pressure
15. Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic sales environment
16. Positive and enthusiastic attitude
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Understanding of the sales process and proficiency with obtaining information from customers and prospects
19. Computer literate, using MS Windows and Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
The Package:
20. Salary of up to £35,000 (dependent on relevant skills and industry experience)
21. Flexible working hours as long as you cover a 35-hour week
22. 20 days holiday + BH (Rising to 25 days after 2 years)
23. Discretionary annual bonus (based on annual company performance)
