As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer based at our Leicester office. Join a supportive team where you will receive valuable training, guidance, and career development opportunities.
You will be involved in:
1. A wide range of projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, defence, and infrastructure.
Your core duties will include:
* Ensuring high-quality technical delivery of projects
* Ensuring commercial success through effective project control
* Minimizing health and safety risks in all structural activities
* Supporting bids when required
* Enhancing Pick Everard's profile within the construction industry
* Supporting the growth within the discipline
* Working collaboratively within the discipline, wider team, and client base
* Mentoring junior engineers
About You
You will be committed to fostering a positive work culture, with a compassionate attitude and respect for others. To be considered, you must have:
* Excellent knowledge of Structural Engineering
* Experience with relevant design software
* Understanding of Eurocodes
* Robust health and safety awareness
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Good report writing skills
Desirable qualifications include:
* Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
* Experience supporting junior team members
* Commitment to CPD activities
