We’re working with a fast-paced, no-nonsense business in Hull that’s in need of a safe pair of hands to help get their ledger under control. Systems are in place. Processes are there. They just need someone who can hit the ground running and keep things moving. What You’ll Be Doing: Taking charge of the sales ledger and chasing overdue payments – professionally but firmly. Building rapport with customers (and knowing when to turn on the charm or turn up the pressure). Allocating payments, reconciling accounts, and generally keeping things tidy and accurate. Working closely with finance and sales to sort disputes before they escalate. Who We’re Looking For: A seasoned credit controller who doesn’t flinch at a high-volume ledger. Confident on the phones, with a good dose of common sense and commercial awareness. Available immediately (or very soon) and happy to commit for at least 2 months. Location: Hull, office-based – though there may be a bit of flex once you're up and running. Pay: We’re open to conversations – it’ll depend on experience, but we’re not here to waste anyone’s time.
