MI Analyst / Data Analyst

Are you a data analyst who enjoys turning numbers into meaningful insight? A successful and fast-growing Liverpool-based organisation is looking for an MI Analyst / Data Analyst to join their friendly and collaborative IT team.
This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects, improve reporting across the business, and continue developing your technical and analytical skills in a supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing
1. Creating and improving MI reports that help the business make better decisions
2. Working with SQL and Excel to extract, clean, and analyse data
3. Building clear, insightful dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools)
4. Collaborating with teams across the organisation to understand reporting needs
5. Helping improve how data is structured, presented, and used
What we’re looking for
6. Around 2–3 years’ experience in a Data Analyst or MI Analyst role
7. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
8. Solid SQL experience for querying and manipulating data
9. Experience with Power BI or another data visualisation tool
10. A good eye for detail and a logical, analytical mindset
11. Someone organised, proactive, and comfortable managing deadlines
12. Clear communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
