GSL Education are partnering with a vibrant secondary school in Waterlooville to find a Substitute Cover Teacher who can bring energy, adaptability, and a love of learning into the classroom. This is more than just covering lessons—it’s about keeping the momentum of learning alive and inspiring students to stay curious, even when their regular teacher is away.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Substitute Cover Teacher:
* Bring Lessons to Life: Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
* Lead with Confidence: Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom environment.
* Support Student Success: Keep learners on track and motivated throughout the day.
* Be the Bridge: Ensure continuity in learning and communicate effectively with school staff.
* Leave a Mark: Provide feedback and insights that help students grow.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* A confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and adaptability—you’re ready for anything the day brings
* A genuine passion for education and student wellbeing
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
