About Exemplar Health Care

Exemplar Health Care began as a healthcare consultancy and training firm. But we soon saw a gap in the sector: a lack care homes for younger adults living with complex needs.

That insight shaped the mission we still live by today - to transform complex care and provide fulfilling opportunities for the people who need it most.

We’re now proud to have more than 60 care homes across England, providing nursing care for adults living with dementia, neuro-disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.

Whoever you are, and whatever experience you bring, there are lots of ways you can help us make every day better for the people we support.

What's happening at Exemplar Health Care

We love spending a day out in our local community getting things done and having a bit of fun along the way!

Rob made the most of it at Meadowcroft - he shopped the day away, buying everything from a book to a fire engine

To top it off, he joined the local library and checked out some new books to enjoy

Here’s to more days like this full of big smiles

Say cheese, Blackpool

Guy used to be a keen photographer - and this week he dusted off his camera to head out on a day trip to Blackpool ️

With the sun shining and a perfect blue sky above, he was in his element capturing the seaside scenes

We love supporting people to reconnect with the hobbies that mean the most.

For Guy, that’s photography - and moments like this show why it’s so important

Here’s to many more adventures behind the lens, Guy!

A tug of war, a sack race, and a ring toss… the game faces were ON at Lakeview's sports day

Everyone dived into a day packed with fun, fitness, and friendly rivalry

The stakes were high, but Firtree Unit triumphed and took home the trophy. Congratulations!

Because staying active should always feel this good

We've found our heart horses at Bennett Court

Last week, the team spent the day with New Beginnings Horses - and what a treat it was!

New Beginnings offers a loving and safe home for retired racehorses, where they’re pampered, groomed, and spoiled every day

Everyone had the best time meeting their new friends - if you couldn't tell from their smiles!

Making meaningful moments part of every day - that’s care at Roseside - Exemplar Health Care

Last week, residents joined the Loving arms dementia group for a special garden party - complete with music, dancing, and sunshine ️

Every week brings something new: gardening, quizzes, chats over tea... real moments that make a difference

At Exemplar Health Care, we do things differently.

Our teams have the time to build real relationships, focus on what matters to each individual, and create meaningful experiences every day

Meet Caroline - our front-of-house superstar at Woolston House!

Every week, Caroline leads our Coffee First mornings - greeting visitors, taking orders, and serving up good vibes

But that's not all - she’s also the home's Activity Volunteer and Charity Champion, bringing new ideas and a real sense of purpose to daily life

We love seeing people thrive in meaningful roles, build their confidence, and play an active part in home life Caroline, you're amazing!

Match day magic for Adam

Adam's been cheering on Manchester United for as long as he can remember, and last week he saw his beloved Red Devils live

He must have been their lucky charm as they won!

It's days like these that really hit the back of the net for us

Rae celebrated her 60th in style with her very own Flamingo Fest ????

From the decorations to the playlist, everything was tailored to Rae and what she loves most

And while we couldn’t get a real flamingo to the party, we did the next best thing - we adopted one in her name as a special birthday gift

.... because everyone deserves to feel special on their special day
