Our client are specialists in their market sector, due to exciting business growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit an Operations Assistant on a permanent basis.

Candidates should have a strong background in operations, logistics, customer service and supply chain.

The job you’ll do

* Operations Assistant will support day-to-day business operations across customer service, logistics, and vendor management.

* This individual plays a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

* Ideal candidates are highly organised, responsive, and proactive in problem-solving.

* Customer Service.

* Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone.

* Track and manage order status, delays, and issues.

* Provide proactive updates and resolve complaints with professionalism.

* Logistics & Fulfilment.

* Assist in planning and booking domestic and international shipments.

* Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses, and carriers.

* Track deliveries and maintain accurate records of shipping documents.

* Vendor & Supplier Coordination.

* Liaise with vendors to confirm lead times, delivery dates, and order status.

* Help onboard new suppliers and maintain up-to-date vendor information.

* Support purchase order processing and confirmations.

* General Operations Support.

* Maintain accurate inventory or order management records.

* Assist with data entry, invoicing, and reporting.

* Help implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

The Rewards and the Benefits

* 3-5 years experience in operations, logistics, customer service, or supply chain.

* Strong communication and follow-up skills (written and verbal).

* Experience working with vendors, 3PLs, or internal fulfilment teams.

* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP, shipping, or order management tools (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Shopify, etc.).

* Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.

* Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

* Desirable:-

* Bachelor’s or University Degree.

* Experience in B2B operations or e-commerce fulfilment.

* Knowledge of customs documentation or international shipping processes.
