Data driven automation and decision making has never been more important. Data Science & AI will create a new data capability for Consumer to allow us to create the best personal experiences for all our customers across all channels and drive Commercial Revenue.


The Role

The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading the agile squad to ensure all data products delivered are of a high quality, accurate, secure, and always adhere to data protection policies, as well as being cost effective from a build, maintenance, and storage perspective.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Coordinates with a range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, update on progress and achieve benefits.
* Monitors all actions and activities, from scope to delivery, to ensure adherence to technical roadmap and time and budget constraints.
* Support the Delivery Chapter to build and evolve operational capability (WBS, JIRA, Front Door, Confluence dashboards etc.) to support efficient, collaborative ways of working across the Data Alliance.
* Implement ways to improve team, process and service performance.
* Implement the resolution of technical delivery problems and ensure all parties involved are engaged in resolutions.
* Support knowledge transfer with the squad, chapter, and stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with the wider Data community to set and agree on standards and governance.


The Skills And Experience You’ll Have

* Strong stakeholder management; ability to drive strong, open and sustained communication channels both within Consumer. Digital and external source teams.
* Expert in agile methodologies
* JIRA / Confluence experience
* Strong understanding of the E2E data process (Ingestion to Consumption)
* Good understanding of data security and compliance processes
* Experience of Cloud technology (ideally Google Cloud)
* Good communication skills at all levels, written and verbal
* Strong experience leading / coaching and mentoring
