Permanent - Full Time | Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 - Overtime available on weekends
£14.00 per hour

We're looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join a forward-thinking team that serves clients in events, construction, energy, and more.

In this role you will work in a team to prepare and pick equipment for projects and you will check back in equipment that has been returned. As part of this role, you may undertake local deliveries and will be trained to use our asset management software. During quieter times you may be involved in the servicing, testing and repair of equipment, full training will be provided.
The key focus areas for the Warehouse Operative role are:
1. Prep & de-prep of various power & lighting equipment
2. Safe loading & unloading of vans & trucks
3. Local deliveries & collections as necessary
4. Maintenance, testing & repair of equipment
5. Fuelling of fleet vehicles
6. Cleaning of warehouse & work areas
7. Use of in-house hire systems for stock control and rental management
8. Contribute to the positive culture within FTVS
What we're looking for:
9. A highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude
10. Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment
11. Forklift experience is highly desirable
12. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
13. Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
14. Full UK Driving license is essential
15. Have awareness or previous experience within the electrical or the events industry or have relevant transferrable experience from another sector
16. A basic understanding of electrical principles would be an advantage
