Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating both technical expertise and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and malfunctions.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose and repair electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and provide recommendations.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
* Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive repair are advantageous but not essential.
