Job Description
A venture-funded fintech scale-up with a proven, enterprise-grade bank treasury platform is hiring an Interim Business Development Lead to accelerate growth across the challenger and specialist banking segments.
The product is live with multiple banking clients, the platform is mature, and 2026 marks a step-change in commercial investment and a renewed go-to-market push. This is a high-ownership role for a content-rich, entrepreneurial true hunter who can build a pipeline from scratch and close long-cycle, high-value deals.
What you’ll do:
* Own end-to-end enterprise sales: prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution shaping, proposals, negotiation, close
* Build a repeatable pipeline motion with minimal support initially
* Engage senior stakeholders (CFO, Treasurer, COO, Head of Treasury)
* Work closely with Product and Client Success to progress deals at pace
* Create a disciplined funnel rhythm using CRM and clear stage management
* Build a long-term sales strategy, define KPI’s, including hiring a team over time
What we’re looking for:
1. Strong banking credibility, ideally treasury domain depth (liquidity, cash positioning, treasury ops, payments, markets context)
