Ceremonies Officers are one of the first points of contact for couples booking a civil ceremony in Kent. They lead the frontline services in Register Offices and guide couples through the stages of booking and planning the legal aspects of their ceremony. Delivering outstanding customer service and demonstrating a high level of technical knowledge are key parts of the role. The main responsibilities involve delivering Legal Preliminary appointments, liaising with customers over all administrative aspects of their ceremonies, and delivering Register Office and Civil Partnership ceremonies, being trained as both a Registrar and Celebrant. Full training and support are provided for all new colleagues. Excellent people skills, adaptability, attention to detail and good judgement are required. This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to meet a wide range of people and help guide couples through their journey in booking their ceremony and all the legal aspects of their big day.
