The Role You will create safe, meaningful and exciting learning experiences outdoors, supporting children’s curiosity and confidence in all weathers. You will work within our policies and practice frameworks to deliver high-quality care and education. Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging outdoor learning linked to Realising the Ambition and Curriculum for Excellence Promote children’s wellbeing and independence using a nurture-based approach and GIRFEC principles Keep accurate observations and contribute to high-quality learning records Maintain a safe environment through dynamic risk assessment and strong supervision Build positive partnerships with families and the wider team Reflect on practice and contribute to continuous improvement About You Passion for outdoor learning and child-led play Warm, reliable and a strong team player Confident working outdoors all year round Essential SVQ Level 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or HNC in Childhood Practice, or equivalent SSSC registration, or eligibility to register on appointment PVG membership (Children) or willingness to join Sound knowledge of GIRFEC, Realising the Ambition and safeguarding Desirable Outdoor education, Forest School or similar training Paediatric First Aid What We Offer Supportive, friendly team culture Wellbeing days and recognition for great practice Ongoing CPD and clear progression routes A truly unique woodland working environment How to Apply Apply via s1jobs using the Apply button.
