As a Merchandiser within our Central Merchandising team, you'll support the creation of robust product budgets, financial plans, quarterly reforecasts and range plan frameworks for specific channels.
You'll also have a role in developing Planning tools and spreadsheets which will reduce manual inputs, improve accuracy and enable improved planning decisions.
This role is available remotely within the UK, with quarterly travel to our Cornwall Head offices. If you are a Cornwall based candidate, this role will be based at Head Office with a hybrid working approach.
You'll help us by:
Working with Product Merchandising and channel leads to produce robust product building blocks for both historical performance, and future plans, in all channels.
Working with Finance to create channel and partner sales and profit forecasts by inputting product building blocks and promotional changes.
Supporting Merchandising Planning activities, consolidating inputs from Budgets, MFP and WSSI and understanding, highlighting, and challenging resulting risks and opportunities.
Owning department planning and MFP for D2C, Partner, Wholesale and Clearance specific channels.
Leading the channel/seasonal plan by department.
Being accountable for WSSI budget set up of specific channels across departments to support business stock management.
Being responsible for up front pre-season price status planning with a view to improve profit forecasting and provide a sense check to total WSSI view.
Producing Weekly trade notes to insightfully summarise trading performance and consider impact on future forecasts.
Producing WSSI sales, markdown, POS & margin forecasting across departments and channels to support business stock management and provide a trading forecast within the Quarterly review framework.
The skills you'll be sharing with the team:
Previous experience in a Merchandiser role
Highly analytical and commercially aware, with a passion for product
Ability to analyse and balance quantitative and qualitative data in making commercial decisions
Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
Creative problem-solver, able to overcome issues and identify efficiencies
Ability to manage own priorities and workload, delivering to deadlines
