• Following an initial training period, you will spend 60-80% of your time in court, prosecuting a wide range of offences and applying your skills to achieve outcomes. The remainder of your time will be dedicated to case preparation.
• The role includes induction training, bespoke modules, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching, making a career as a Prosecutions Lawyer accessible to lawyers considering a change of direction.
• Basic requirements include a genuine interest in criminal prosecutions and qualification as a Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales. Experience in a contentious legal area is preferred but not essential; we welcome lawyers from all disciplines eager to learn.
• Strong decision-making skills and exceptional written and verbal communication are essential.
