Join us as a Support Worker. We provide support 24/7. Rotas are planned one month in advance, with additional opportunities arising due to staff absences and sleep-ins.
What would you be doing? You will support five individuals with learning disabilities living in their own homes in Flitwick. Here's what they want from their support workers:
* Talk, keep company, listen
* Be kind and friendly
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment
* Support with smoking management and purchasing cigarettes
* Help plan trips and activities
* Support understanding of routines and changes
* Be patient and understanding
* Engage with their interests like James Bond, music, trucks, filming
* Assist with outings such as shopping, parties, pubs, karaoke, cinema, lunch, visiting family, theatre, holidays
* Support them to make choices and lead meaningful lives

About you: Experience isn't necessary. If you have a positive attitude, good customer service skills, share our values, and are willing to learn, you're a great fit. You must be a driver with a manual license to drive the service vehicle.
