A pharmacy based in Watford requires an individual whom is passionate about all things marketing.
The Social Media Creator will be responsible for developing, designing, and delivering engaging content across their social media platforms. You’ll play a key role in building brand awareness, educating their customers about health and wellness, and ensuring their digital voice reflects their pharmacy’s trusted, professional, and approachable values.
Duties
1. Create engaging, on-brand content (posts, reels, stories, videos, graphics) for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
2. Develop and manage a content calendar aligned to campaigns, seasonal health topics, and pharmacy services
3. Work closely with pharmacy teams to highlight services (e.g., flu jabs, health checks, travel vaccines, weightloss)
4. Capture and edit photo/video content, including activities, behind-the-scenes, and customer education (with permission and within compliance guidelines)
5. Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to queries in line with pharmacy standards
6. Stay up to date with social trends, ensuring our pharmacy remains relevant, engaging, and accessible online
7. Analyse performance metrics, track engagement, and report on social media ROI
8. Ensure all content complies with pharmacy, healthcare, and advertising regulations
About you
To be a Social Media Content Creator Apprentice, you must be a marketing enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.
This 12-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £25, per year.
Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 marketing qualifications.

9. Proven experience creating content for social media
10. Strong knowledge of platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
11. Video editing, graphic design, and photography skills
12. Creative flair with the ability to simplify health-related information into engaging content
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable
15. Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools
16. Familiarity with SEO, paid ads, and social media analytics
