A leading independent school located in Moulsford, on the Oxfordshire-Berkshire border, offers nursery, junior, and senior level education for 620 students and staff. The school provides breakfast, after-school clubs, morning and afternoon breaks, lunch, and hospitality services. This is a term-time only role, operating Monday to Friday, with the benefit of free on-site parking.
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly and established team at our prestigious location in Oxon.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4.30pm
Role: Term-time only
The successful candidate will help maintain a hygienic, safe, and high-standard kitchen environment.
Key skills:
* Experience with pot wash duties is advantageous
* Excellent customer service skills
* Team player attitude
* Assist chefs with food preparation
* Maintain high cleanliness standards
* Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
* Operate industrial dishwasher
Candidate requirements:
* Kitchen Porter experience preferred but not essential
* Positive can-do attitude
* Good organizational skills
Knowledge and competencies:
* Good understanding and use of verbal English
* Proficient in written English and reading skills
* Experience in customer service or food prep environments is a plus
