Your new role As a Credit Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial health of the business. You’ll manage the full credit control cycle, from assessing credit risks and monitoring insurance limits to driving effective cash collection and resolving customer queries. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Merchandising teams, you’ll ensure smooth processes and maintain strong customer relationships while keeping cash flow healthy. Key responsibilities include: Assessing creditworthiness and managing credit limits. Proactively collecting payments and reducing aged debt. Resolving account queries and reconciling customer accounts. Producing cash forecasts and supporting month-end activities. This is a hands-on role where your commercial insight and attention to detail will make a real impact. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in credit control, ideally within fashion wholesale or retail. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the retail landscape. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus). Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to thrive under pressure. High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and resilience in challenging situations.
