Overview
Now is the time to be part of a healthcare transformation. The new NHS 10‑Year Plan places community care at the centre of service delivery, shifting resources closer to where people live and promoting prevention over hospital admission.
As a member of a community‑based NHS trust, you’ll be at the forefront of this change, working in integrated neighbourhood teams alongside GPs, mental health professionals, social workers and voluntary services. You will benefit from new roles, clear career pathways, apprenticeships and personalised development support. The plan also brings workforce standards that include flexible working, mental health support and protection against discrimination.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop specialist continence skills and progress from Band 5 to Band 6 under the supervision of a Specialist Continence Nurse.

* Manage continence needs across a diverse caseload and contribute to service improvement.
* Work closely with specialist nurses and physiotherapists, receiving ongoing supervision and support.
* Maintain a personal professional development plan and achieve required competencies within 12–18 months.
* Adhere to the additional working pattern: Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00.
