Canva Consultant (Pharma Publishing Project)
Contract: 3 months - Outside IR35
Rate: £200-£300 per day
Location: London (Hybrid - in-person training delivery required)
We are working with a consultancy supporting a leading publishing company in the pharmaceutical sector on a major design and template modernisation project. We are seeking a Canva Consultant to help transform existing Microsoft Publisher templates into Canva, roll out Canva across the organisation, and upskill the in-house team.
This role combines hands-on design work with training, process setup, and tool integration. You'll be working on a variety of assets, from small collateral to a flagship 400-page publication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Redesign existing Microsoft Publisher templates in Canva.
* Build new, scalable Canva templates for publishing needs.
* Lead in-person and remote Canva training sessions for staff.
* Assist in setting up Canva company-wide, including brand guidelines and permissions.
* Integrate tools such as Mail Merge and Datawrapper for data visualisation.
* Optimise workflows using Excel and ChatGPT for content and data tasks.
* Collaborate closely with editorial and design teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven Canva expertise, including large-format or long-document design.
* Strong skills with Datawrapper, Excel, and ChatGPT.
* Experience in corporate or publishing environments.
* Ability to translate brand and style guidelines into effective templates.
* Confident trainer and communicator, able to deliver engaging in-person workshops.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex design projects.

* £200-£300 per day (rate dependent on in-office training availability)
* Hybrid - London office presence required for certain training sessions
