Graduate Customer Support Engineer
Location: Clacton-on-Sea area, Essex
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a recent engineering graduate looking to start your career in a hands-on, customer-facing technical role? As a Graduate Customer Support Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on helping customers get the best out of high-performance electronic systems. You'll work across installation, configuration, and technical troubleshooting, while developing a strong foundation in product knowledge, software tools, and customer communication.
What you'll be doing:
Troubleshooting and resolving technical queries related to product setup, configuration, and performance
Escalating more complex issues to engineering and product teams while ensuring clear communication throughout
Documenting support activity and contributing to knowledge bases and troubleshooting guides
Delivering remote and in-person training sessions to help customers gain confidence with products
Building long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical contact
Feeding customer insights back to the development teams to support product improvements
What we're looking for:
A recent Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline)
Some knowledge of programming (e.g. C#, .NET, Python, LabVIEW™ or VeriStand™)
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
Clear, confident communication and the ability to work well with customers
A proactive, adaptable approach - comfortable in a fast-paced, technical environment
Desirable experience:
Familiarity with test and measurement equipment or instrument control standards (PXI, LXI, VISA, IVI)
