Mechanical Engineer – Test Facilities Peterborough 6 Month contract A unique and interesting vacancy that will contribute to the successful design and implementation of development facilities. The work involves solving complex mechanical issues across the facility with specific focus on services and safety systems for the test cell environment. Also involving leadership and execution of projects and the successful applicant will become a key member of the Test Facilities Engineering team, with opportunities to work on the creation and deployment of these new systems. Key Responsibilities: * Evaluation, selection, and deployment of powertrain test cell technologies. * Design and development of mechanical systems and subsequent services to support. * Collation and distribution of findings in technical reports. * Design modifications to facility plant, test rigs and equipment. * Develop, document, and maintain processes. * Complex fault finding.
