We have an opportunity for a Bill of Materials (BOM) Administrator working within our Technical team. This role offers the chance to gain experience in a fast-paced environment, develop product knowledge, and gain exposure to key areas of the business.


Job Purpose:

The BOM team is a vital part of Willerby’s Technical department, ensuring data accuracy and product costings by collaborating with teams such as Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement.

* Manage ongoing product data within Willerby’s in-house system.
* Contribute to new product setup and onboarding processes.
* Support Product Design Managers during new product introductions.
* Assist in cost reduction initiatives and quality improvements.
* Support customers and internal departments with necessary documentation and support.
* Enhance business systems and strengthen technical and operational control of the BOM.


Key Responsibilities:

* Create Bills of Materials and options for new products.
* Process change requests to ensure correct materials are ordered.
* Ensure accurate pricing for options and finished goods.
* Assist with VAT pricing files to ensure compliance.
* Participate in production readiness meetings to review BOM accuracy and late changes.
* Maintain data accuracy in change management and option validation systems.
* Monitor costs and manufacturing times, supporting production planning.
* Assist Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply with late option requests and concessions.
* Perform various ad hoc tasks as needed.


Requirements, Skills, and Attributes:

* A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
* IT literate with strong Excel and Word skills.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Goal-oriented with drive and commitment to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail is essential.
* Energetic and enthusiastic.
* Strong work ethic and team player mentality.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Willingness to learn.
